Copilot for the Field: 43 Plain-English Microsoft Copilot Prompts for Operators, Technicians & Crew Leads

Your company turned on Copilot. Here's how to actually use it when your job isn't behind a desk.

Most Copilot training is written for office workers. This field guide is for operators, technicians, and crew leads: the people with the least time to sit at a screen and the most to gain from AI that handles the email and paperwork.

What's inside:

• Which Copilot do you have? A 10-second test, plus prompts marked PASTE that work even on the basic Copilot Chat
• Take Back Your Inbox: sort what needs you from what doesn't, check "am I actually needed on this CC?", summarize monster threads, and build inbox rules in plain English
• Shift Paperwork: turn voice notes into shift reports, turnover notes, daily logs, and breakdown reports
• Procedures and Manuals: find one answer fast, see what changed in a new revision, and summarize long documents (then check the original)
• Meetings and Teams: catch up on meetings and chats you missed while you were on the job
• Talking to the Office: explain field problems, request parts, push back politely, and follow up
• On Your Phone: talk instead of type
• Microsoft's 4-part prompt formula, 10 quick fix-it follow-ups, and career prompts

What you get: a 20-page PDF with 43 copy-and-paste prompts. Instant download.
